Who we are

DMD MedTech S.r.l. is an italian firm composed of electronics and computer engineers.

Since 1995 our team has been working in the development of the chart system, probably the first LCD chart system in the world: a worldwide successful product which is now at its fourth generation.

From the beginning we have collaborated with optometrists and ophtalmologists to meet the standardized and universally accepted methods and procedures used by professionals to perform vision testing.

Inventions, designing, producing and marketing of electromedical instruments, best performance, following top available technologies,  higher quality and reliability and lower prices than other producers.

Our history, our way:

Invention, designing and producing of DMD MedTech ophthalmological instruments arises in 1997, when the first computerized optotype, provided of a LCD screen,  is introduced on the market.

Since then, DMD Med Tech has been carrying on its mission to improve continuously its skills in vision examinations, looking at top available electronic and software technologies, to produce excellent instruments at low prices. Our products are designed and manufactured in Italy by DMD Med Tech and others ISO 9001 suppliers. Electronic knowledge is supplied by DMD Computers. Following this fundamentals, on 2007 VistaVision was on his fourth generation.

The continuous improvements has involved even marketing approach. First, DMD Med Tech was just a supplier of a world distributor, SIFI, who sold our instruments under its brand. Since 2006, we have changed our marketing approach reaching greater autonomy and status. We sell our products:

• directly to local distributor/resellers under DMD Med Tech brand
• as  ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) chosen by prestigious society under their brand (Carl Zeiss Vision, Indo, ...)
